Aberdeen will set their sights on a number of lucrative transfer targets: Cristiano Ronaldo; Robert Lewandowsk; Kaka; Theo Walcott and Lionel Messi could all be tempted to the Pittodrie stadium if the club brings their transfer policy in line with a written request issued by 9-year-old fan Boyd Gibson.
The 12 strong list of players would certainly improve the current Aberdeen squad, though the acquisition of some of the potential future stars may prove difficult. Gibson has of course included a more realistic 12th choice target.
The 9-year-old has been impressed by Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd who he thinks can be tempted to sign alongside Messi and co.
