It's a sensitive time for Arsenal fans as the club have been made to look very silly with their panicked attempts to sign Thomas Lemar on deadline day.
The fact that the club opted not to sign him for £52m earlier in the window before returning to Monaco with a bid of £92m on deadline day, that was accepted only for Lemar to reject the move, has not gone down well at all, and it's certainly not helped by the fact that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain signed for Liverpool earlier today.
The England international may not have been the most prolific player ever to pull on an Arsenal jersey, but he tried his best regardless of what position he was picked to play in and was always a very popular member of the dressing room.
That was clear to see as Aaron Ramsey published his goodbye message for his former teammate on Instagram, although he was made to regret one of the hashtags he used very quickly.
Surprised no one has mentioned this, Ramsey seemingly calling Arsenal a shambles after Ox-Chamberlain joined Liverpool. #AFC #DeadlineDay pic.twitter.com/LzR3uL369I

Some were angry to see Ramsey use the hashtag '#shaambles', thinking that it was a not-so-subtle pop at the club for allowing him to leave, but that was well wide of the mark.
It turns out that 'Shambles' was Oxlade-Chamberlain's nickname at Arsenal, given to him by Per Mertesacker because he was always fined for being late.
Ramsey took to Twitter to clear up the confusion.
Let's all calm down, 'Shaaambles' was a nickname used as a joke for the ox sometimes around the training ground. #personaljoke

And just to make sure it's not him backtracking on an ill-advised hashtag, here's Rob Holding of Arsenal explaining why The Ox was called 'Shambles' by his teammates.
Nothing to worry about.
Today has been a bad day for Arsenal, but not quite 'players calling the club a shambles on social media' bad. Not yet anyway.
