In advance of Wednesday's massive game against England at Wembley, which is being shown live on Setanta Ireland, we are starting the build up, bringing you back to that infamous night and plotting the key storylines that makes May 29th, one of the biggest nights of the sporting calendar.
The friendly between Ireland and England in 1995 was one of the most controversial games in the history of the national team. Shortly following a David Kelly goal which gave Ireland the lead in the 21st minute, a group of English fans began rioting which caused the game to be abandoned.
