On this side of the Atlantic, the MLS Cup was pretty much all about Robbie Keane and even if he is the best player in the MLS that doesn't mean it actually was the Robbie Keane show. There was also the significant fact that America's greatest ever player, Landon Donovan, retired as an MLS champion.
Plus there was this. New England Revolution's A.J. Soares and his novel approach to dealing with some blatant time wasting from Galaxy goalkeeper Jaime Paneda. As some goalkeepers have been known to do on occasion, Paneda decided that the end of extra time was the perfect opportunity for a lie down. Cue Soares' intervention.
The picking up we understand, the throwing him back down is a bit counter intuitive though.
