ITV News reports that QPR striker Loic Remy is one of three men who have been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in her 30's on May 6th.
From ITV News:
The Metropolitan Police said: "Officers from Sapphire are investigating an allegation of rape which happened on 6 May in the west London area.
"The allegation was passed on to the MPS by Kent Police on 8 May after the 34-year-old female victim reported it to them on the previous day, 7 May. The victim alleges she was raped by three men.
"On the morning of Wednesday, 15 May three men, [A] aged 26; [B] aged 23; [C] 22 yrs, were arrested at an address in Fulham on suspicion of rape - they remain in custody at a west London police station".
They say that the woman arrived at Remy's flat on the night in question believing that the two of them would be alone but a cousin of Remy along with a friend were also present. She accepted a drink, after which she lost consciousness and then awoke sometime later to find herself naked.
She made a complaint to the police the following day.
The 26-year-old French striker joined QPR from Marseille for £8 million in January and was one of their standout players, scoring six goals for them this season. He has 18 caps for his country.
Following QPR's relegation there has been much speculation that he would be the subject of bids from numerous Premier League clubs.
