The 8 Stages Of Deciding Upon Your Weekend Accumulator

Nearly every football fan goes through these stages before selecting their weekend accumulators. You'll probably go through something similar if you enter the free Bull or Bear €1,000 league.

The dead certs

The matches you go straight for. These are the games you supposedly rely on. No doubt the likes of United or Liverpool will let you down but at the moment you're at your happiest.

Overwhelmed

How fast things change as you look at the rest of the fixture list and start to panic. Suddenly you realise you're in way over your head.

The 'I got a sneaky feeling' teams

You have no idea why but for some reason you fancy an upset in Man City v Aston Villa for instance. Maybe it's how the air smells that day, maybe it came to you dream but all you know is there's a surprise on the cards.

Second guessing

'Hold on now a second', you think to yourself. Perhaps I shouldn't be basing my predictions on wind and dreams, there's no real evidence to suggest on upset. You reluctantly decide you'll go with a draw instead.

The moment when you realise you've got too many draws

You get to the end and then come to sudden and horrifying realisation that over half your predictions are draws. You know that there are never the many deadlocks so you go back and change some the results. However at this stage you're past the point of caring who to pick and just randomly choose one side and let it be over with.

The final change up

You're sitting in work when you realise 'Jesus Christ there's no way Cardiff are actually going to beat Chelsea.' Call it the last minute panic if you will but after the red mist lifts you'll have changed about 80% of your predictions.

Nailed on banker can't be beaten

As the weekend begins you're now dead certain you're in for a big pay day. Nothing can go wrong. This time Tuesday morning you'll be a millionaire.

Things fall asunder

One of two things is guaranteed to happen; either the team who had a feeling for but didn't back in the end will win or the dead cert will let you down. Either way it's all gone tits up and you're weeping ... interminably weeping.

Now you too can get the full Bull or Bear experience by entering their free €1,000 league.

It’s pretty simple, you point your browser at Bull or Bear and then sign up using your Facebook account. Once that’s done all you’ve got to do is make your Premier League predictions each week for two weeks, whoever has the most correct at the end will take the €1,000 bounty.

You’d be stupid not to do this.
