We are just about to head into the busy festive season of Premier League football, which means that Fantasy Premier League managers will have to choose wisely in order to maximise their points over the coming weeks.
Here are seven fantasy Premier League picks for the upcoming round of fixtures.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang (£11.1m) proved his worth over the weekend with a sumptuous strike against Spurs in the North London derby as well as an assist, and it might be time to bite the bullet at splash the cash on the Gabonese hitman.
Lukas Fabianski
With Cardiff, Crystal Palace and Fulham as the Hammer's next three games, West Ham number one Lukas Fabianski could prove a shrewd choice for FPL managers. The ex-Arsenal man has 53 points so far this season and will only set you back £4.5m.
Felipe Anderson
Anderson (£7.1m) is warming to life in London with two goals in his last two games and as with team mate Lukas Fabianski has a great opportunity to build on his current form over the next few fixtures.
James Maddison
Leicester's James Maddison (£6.8m) scored a wonderful goal against Watford at the weekend, and after moving up from the Championship the England youngster looks at home on in the Premier League. Fulham, Spurs and Crystal Palace are the next three games for the Foxes and Maddison should shine in at least two of those games.
Andre Gomes
Gomes (£5.4m) was very unlucky not to get on the scoresheet in Everton's last gasp defeat at Anfield on Sunday, and the Barca loanee looked a class act throughout the 90 and will pick up points if he continues to play in one of the most dangerous looking Everton sides of recent times.
Bernard
Another impressive performance in the Merseyside derby came from Brazilian Bernard. The former Shakhtar man (£5.9) looked a threat throughout, and a lot of Everton's good play came through the diminutive forward.
Stuart Armstrong
Despite Mark Hughes' sacking yesterday, the star of Southampton's Stuart Armstrong continues to rise with another goal in his side's 2-2 draw with Man United. That's three goals in two for the former Celtic midfielder and at £5.1m represents a bargain if he continues this form.
