In one of the worst-kept secrets of the transfer window, Chelsea have agreed terms with Juan Cuadrado with likely fee of £23.3m rising to £26.6m according to the BBC. The Colombian signs from Fiorentina where he managed one goal every four games from the wing. The 26-year-old came to international prominence during the 2014 World Cup, where his side were unlucky to be beaten by Brazil in the quarter-finals.
Mohammed Salah is likely to move the other way on loan and Andre Schurrle is expected to move to German club Wolfsburg having completed a medical. The deal is for £23m, which would give Chelsea a £5m profit on the midfielder.

Chelsea's midfield remains an embarrassment of riches with Cuadrado joining the likes Hazard, Fabregas and Willian at the club. What remains to be seen is if the like-for-like switch of Schrulle for Cuadrado will prove an astute one.
