Tim Cahill is throwing jabs at corner flags in China these days while playing with Shanghai Shenhua. That's the club whose cheques Didier Drogba was cashing before returning to the bosom of Jose Mourinho via Galatasaray.
Cahill's side played the Fabio Canavaro-managed (and I'm just typing their full name to annoy you) Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club on Friday going down 3-0. To add injury to insult, Cahill had his nose broken during the second half in a comical clash with a Guangzhou's Lin Gao. It's like something directly out of a Laurel and Hardy sketch, except with an added post-collision tweet.
Tough night. Nose a little broken but got my babies to take care of me. More upset we lost tonight ???????????? pic.twitter.com/H7ePNhSjYi
