Manuel Neuer was given the briefest of rests by Pep Guardiola on Saturday. The decision to end that rest was taken out of the Bayern Munich manager's hands though by Pepe Reina.
The Spaniard was given a rare start against Augsburg but his stint of the pitch only lasted 13 minutes before he was sent off for colliding with striker Raúl Bobadilla. Paul Verhaegh then stepped up to face Neuer but hit the post with his spot kick.

With just under 20 minutes remaining in the game, Bobadilla was involved in the action once again. The Argentine's brilliant flicked finish got the better of Neuer and gave his team a 1-0 win.
