Bolivia's 54 year-old president Evo Morales has signed for a professional football team in the first division. The Aptly named Sport Boys side announced that Morale would be donning the number 10 jersey and will play as a midfielder.
The club president Cronenbold believes the 54 year old, Morales has a lot to offer under the Argentine manager Néstor Clausen, who brushed off questions about Morales fitness. 'As I told the president, jokingly, we are not putting the president of Uruguay on the field,' a reference to Uruguay's 78-year-old José Mujica.
'We are contracting a person who is in very good shape and who lives soccer,' he added.
