There are countless examples of how nice and down to earth Seamus Coleman is around fans of both Everton and Ireland, which is why Reece Kenny's letter to his hero really hits home.
Reece and his brother Cody met Coleman on Thursday, before the Wales game and were in the stadium when the Irish captain suffered his leg break. The Offaly brothers have penned a letter to Coleman, which was subsequently sent to us by their mother, Michelle.
It reads:
To Seamus,
I love you. You are the best soccer player. My brother and I met you last Thursday, the day before the Wales match.
You were so kind and friendly to us. You are our hero. We were at the match and we are so sad for you that your bones are broken. We hope you get better really soon.
