Hats were well and truly off when news came through that West Ham United midfielder Michael Antonio decided to celebrate his goal against Sunderland by doing the 'Woooopedywooopwooopwoop' Homer Simpson... Thing?
Everybody instantly knew what it was, but just to be sure, Antonio clarified it after the match:

A great shout, and the West Ham man will be widely praised for having a bit of fun, but we immediately asked the question as to why more players don't do more Simpsons themed celebrations, which lead us to...
5 other Simpsons celebrations we would love to see:
Funk dancing for self defense.
The pinnacle. It would be near impossible to pull off, and the shotgun would need to be an imaginary one obviously, but this would just be too good.
Homer dancing to Lisa playing the jug.
Perhaps it may not be recognised at first, but that just makes it an even better simpsons refernce.
Man getting hit by football.
You'd need a partner, but you'd win the $10,000.
Monorail.. Monorail..
Get your teammates involved and hold that finish. Superb.
You don't win friends with salad.
Firstly, it's true, you don't.
Secondly, this would make for one hell of a team celebration.
Professional sportsmen and women.. It's over to you.
