We knew this day was coming!

The FA Cup commitments of Wolves, Brighton, the Manchester clubs, Watford and Palace have ensured that Gameweek 31 has been well and truly decimated as far as the Fantasy Premier League goes.

With only half of the regular amount of players available to us, as well as City, United, Arsenal and Spurs all sitting this Fantasy Gameweek out, we feel there's enough about you lads that you'll know to pile in on Chelsea and Liverpool assets yourselves. If you don't, then you're playing the wrong game.

Lets try and find some often opposed nuggets that might set your weekend alight.

Lukasz Fabianski - £4.8m

The West Ham stopper is Fantasy gold - if he can keep a clean sheet.

With a brutal back four in front of him, the Pole gets plenty of opportunity rack up the saves when the Irons play and in this game, saves mean points.

This weekend, impotent Huddersfield travel to the London Stadium, averaging a goal in only one of every two games.

They've blanked in their last two so may well be due, but ignoring the goalkeeper that's facing an attack with only 15 goals this season would be idiotic.

Declan Rice - £4.7m

Right, so he's not the flavour of the month, but the fact is that everything we said about Fabianski applies to the Irish traitor  West Ham defender.

Listed in the game as a defender, but playing most of the season in a holding role in midfield, Rice seems to have added a couple of extra dimensions to his game in recent weeks in a bid to obviously garner favour with his new international teammates. He's picked up two goals against Arsenal and Newcastle this season and rasped one of the post in the defeat to Cardiff City last weekend, so he's got a taste for things now.

The West Ham double-up at the back should (we hope!) pay big dividends this weekend.

Harvey Barnes - £5.5m

Having only returned from an early season loan at West Brom in time for the Foxes game with Southampton in Gameweek 22, Barnes has registered three assists in what is in theory 7 and a half appearances, having been withdrawn at half-time in that game.

The youngster has been more-or-less ever-present since the home defeat to Manchester United in Gameweek 24 and will surely be one of the players to revel in the attacking-minded Brendan Rodgers era at the Kingpower.

That, twinned with the fact that only 1 in every 200 managers are picking the starlet, make him a genuine differential prospect for the trip to Burnley.

David Brooks - £5.1m

Fantasy Football Tips, Gameweek 31

We could have taken the easy option and just gone with Ryan Fraser or Callum Wilson as our big Bournemouth pick, but we want to see you take the opportunity of the lean Gameweek to try and catch some of your rivals on the hop.

21-year-old Brooks has been a revelation in the Cherries midfield this season, scoring six goals and chipping in with four assists since his summer move from Sheffield United.

The Wales international was shit hot a couple of months back, before missing four games in effect through an ankle injury.

He returned for an hour in the ultra-defensive home defeat to Man City, before being withdrawn with fifteen minutes left against Huddersfield last time. Hopefully now back fully fit and with a leaky Newcastle defence next up, managers can reasonably expect a return from the 5% owned playmaker.

Ayoze Perez - £6.1m

When looking at striking options for the weekend, there might not be much space for Perez in sides that are already carrying the likes of Gonzalo Higuaín, Jamie Vardy and the aforementioned Wilson.

But there is no doubting the correlation between Newcastle's recent upturn in form and the diminutive Spanish striker rediscovering his goalscoring touch.

Perez has registered in victories over Cardiff and Huddersfield over the past couple of months, as well as grabbing two in last weekend's sensational come from behind success over Everton.

Granted the ex-Tenerife marksman has revelled at St. James's Park without tearing things up on the road very often in his Newcastle career, but with a game against porous Bournemouth upcoming, and ownership of only 1.5%, he could be the under-the-radar choice for Rafa Benitez's resurgent Magpies.
