It's as if Mick McCarthy can only sign Irish players; Shelbourne's 19-year-old winger Dylan Connolly has joined Ipswich Town.
There are currently six Irish players in the Championship side's first team squad.
Best of luck to @dconnolly_95 . Hope everything goes well for you @Official_ITFC

Goal.com reported that Connolly had spent some time on trial at both Ipswich and Bolton last summer.
He becomes the latest player to leave the League of Ireland for England, with Ryan Manning, Patrick Hoban and Rory Gaffney some of the other players to leave during the transfer window.
Bright futures are expected of Connolly and Manning in particular and it would be no surprise to see them in an Irish jersey in years to come.
