Oh it's on! Don't you just love a good GAA v soccer feud? Joe Brolly today hit back at Stephen Hunt after he hit back at Joe Brolly by claiming that soccer players can be really committed and good role models too, yo.
Among other comments, Brolly told the Irish News how he thinks Hunt would have gotten on had he been playing in the Ulster club football final last Sunday:
If you look at that astounding application – lads putting their bodies on the line – and you think of someone like poor Stephen Hunt standing in the middle of that, it would be like the Christians in the Colosseum…fed to the lions.
Well, while responding to a tweet from Sunday Independent sports editor John Greene, Hunt has challenged Joe Brolly to some sort of inter-sport, Games of Thrones type, duel.
@johnjgreene @JoeBrolly1993 if he names a player for a test in all skills that plays today would be up for it in summer?all for good cause

I'm not sure if he meant it to be a dig but the fact that Hunt assumes Brolly wouldn't actually take him on himself makes in 1-0 to the Ipswich man in our eyes already. Well Joe Brolly, what do you make of that?
