It's fair to call Clinton Morrison an Irish cult favourite, isn't it? We think so, so we're going with it. Ireland cult favourite Clinton Morrison is back in league football after joining League 2 Exeter City on non-contract terms.
Morrison was banging in the goal (singular) for Long Eaton United in the Midland League Premier Division but dropped them quicker than his kit when the opportunity to get back to league football presented itself. Even if it is on a non contract basis we couldn't be happier about it.
We'll be honest this happened a few days ago but we're only getting over the excitement of it now.

Clinton was on the bench on Friday night as he watched his new teammates defeat Accrington Stanley 3-2 to move up to ninth in the table. We can't speak for Clinton but we haven't given up hope of an international recall just yet.
