Getting people through the gates can be a struggle in the Premier League or La Liga. Getting people through the gate in the League of Ireland is significantly more of a challenge. There's plenty of people behind the scenes across the League who, often on a volunteer basis, work their asses off to convince people to get out on a Friday and support their local team.
It's a thankless task, so let's use this opportunity to thank those people. Finn Harps spotted an opportunity this week to use Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction to their own advantage. They sent out a very special invitation to Malik just in case he was free tomorrow night.

We have heard from a very good source that the soup is fairly decent so it's not an offer to be scoffed at. Anyway given that they used #AlwaysInOurHeartsZaynMalik, some One Direction fans found out. Anyone heading to Finn Park on Friday better beware of reprisals.
