How does a defender worth £20 million turn into someone who genuinely looks as if he's afraid of attackers? That's the question many Liverpool fans have been asking this season while looking at someone who looks like Dejan Lovren but other than that bears little resemblance to the player that Southampton were lauding last season.
Following Liverpool's capitulation at the hands of their biggest rivals it comes as no surprise that this week's MNF dissection turned to Lovren and the part he's played in Liverpool's currently sitting in tenth position in the league.
