James Corden is a big deal in America now as he hosts his own late night talk show, the true sign that you've made it in the States. Of course Jamie Redknapp, Freddy Flintoff and John Bishop will be devastated not to have been invited along in a similar fashion to how Dougal, Father Jack, and Mrs.Doyle would have been had Father Ted gone through with his plans to make it big in the US, but he had a heart, unlike Corden.
One of Corden's old mates who is cool enough for American TV is David Beckham, and the former 'Gavin & Stacey' star has wasted no time in calling in a favour by having arguably the World's most famous former footballer appear on his show.
Beckham is getting used to becoming essentially a stay at home Dad (albeit the slickest stay at home Dad the World has ever seen) and is settling into the role well as can be seen in this video where he decides that it's perfectly acceptable to talk about his teenage son's first date while being watched by millions.
David, please, you were a kid once. Think about the awkward emotional trauma you are causing this young man.
