Before QPR were destroyed 6-0 by Man City on Sunday, Joey Barton stated that "one or two bad eggs" had been particularly culpable in QPR's relegation this season.
There’s a few people who need to have a good look at themselves.
On the whole, the dressing room has turned up and given everything. One or two bad eggs have spoiled it. If it had been done my way, they would have been out of the building straight away.
Tuesday's Daily Mirror 'revealed' that according their sources within the club, these players were Adel Taarabt, Armand Traore, Mauro Zarate, Mauricio Isla and Eduardo Vargas. (That's actually quite a few more than Barton's quantity of bad eggs.) The paper also said that these players had angered staff and teammates, including Joey Barton.
Barton took exception to these revelations on Twitter today, calling it "clueless journalism" and said that it was "easy to blame those not in a strong enough position to affect the group".
Another piece of clueless journalism circulating this morning regarding me and QPR.

For the record, I don't believe Vargas, Isla, Zarate, Taarabt or Traore are responsible for QPR's relegation.

Interesting that this story was 'revealed' to this journalist. Easy to blame those not in a strong enough position to affect the group.
