It's just over three weeks until Ireland votes in the same-sex marriage referendum. Roddy Doyle, Roy Keane's ghostwriter for 'The Second Half' along with some classics of Irish literature, has thrown his weight behind the yes vote with a little tale on his Facebook page.
It features a precise summary of Cristiano Ronaldo's ability and an unfavourable assessment James Rodriguez as a footballer, but not of him aesthetically. Though opinion of the Colombian may have changed upon seeing another stonking volley from him against Almeria.
-Which way are yeh votin’ in the gay thing?-The marriage equality referendum?-Yeah.-Yes.-You’re votin’...
