Italy spent much of their Euro 2016 Qualifier trailing 2-1 to Bulgaria last night in Sofia, that was until Brazilian born Eder scored an 84th minute equaliser. Italy ended up drawing 2-2 with Bulgaria in Euro 2016 Group H to extend their unbeaten run in qualifiers to 45 matches.
They last suffered defeat in the qualifying stages of a major tournament in September 2006, but were on the verge of losing that record after Ivelin Popov and Iliyan Micanski had given Bulgaria a 2-1 lead.
