After an excellent start to the Championship season, Ipswich have slipped down the table of late. Mick McCarthy's team have gotten back on track with their last two games though beating Bolton during the week and second-placed Watford on Saturday.

The Ipswich defence has received criticism recently but McCarthy has stood behind the men who have put his team in with a chance of promotion to the Premier League.

Speaking to the media after yesterday's win, McCarthy was forthright in telling the critics where to go.
