Middlesbrough put three past David Forde in the Millwall goal on Tuesday night. The first goal of the game was a beautiful team move involving five players which was finished by Patrick Bamford.
Bamford is a former Irish U18 international currently on loan at Middlesbrough from Chelsea. He is qualified to play for Ireland through his grandmother and played once for the Boys in Green before changing his allegiance to England. There have been reports since that Ireland U21 Noel King was trying to get the forward to switch his allegiance once more.
He has scored 11 times in the Championship for his temporary club.
