Chelsea Use Instagram To Call Out Graeme Souness And Jamie Carragher For Hypocrisy

Jose Mourinho's side were widely criticised following their elimination from the Champions League during the week for attempts to influence referee Bjorn Kuipers. Players surrounded the referee when Zlatan Ibrahimovic slid in on Oscar. The Swede saw red for the challenge.

Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher, on Sky Sports, were two of those to castigate the club. Carragher called the reaction "disgraceful" while Souness said it was sad big games were being decided by "gamesmanship".

Chelsea hit back at both of the analysts with this post on Instagram captioned "For those with short memories...". It depicts both former Liverpool players involved in the type of scenes they were deriding during the week.
