Cubism, impressionism, pre-raphaelites and realists, these are all arty sounding words and that's about the sum of our knowledge of the art world. However, let that not get in the way of our ability to usher in a new dawn of artistic understanding. Prepare to alter all previous definitions of beauty.
As John Keats once said, "beauty is truth, truth beauty". Well, what could be more true than the meticulous notes of a BBC football commentator?
BBC Radio Newcastle's Nick Barnes has a 'bible'. It is a bible of his notes from games that he commentates on and it is quite simply stunning. Anyone who likes straight lines and football, you are about to experience colour coded nirvana.
Barnes seems to do this for every game but, given that he is based in Newcastle, it seems right to highlight his notes from the Tyne-Wear derby last week. It's just so damn beautiful.

Here's a few more pictures courtesy of /r/soccer. As quite a few people have pointed out, the fact that he has taken the time to colour in a chequered pitch is wonderful beyond words. Nick Barnes, you are a magnificent human being.
