David Bentley made his Crossmaglen debut in a challenge game against Silverbridge on Wednesday evening.
The ex-Spurs player is taking part in a documentary titled 'The Toughest Trade' which has been commissioned by AIB (more info here) and has joined up with the Armagh club for a week.
Gaelic Life's Niall McCoy was a spectator at the game and detailed the former English international's performance. Given the type of player he was in the Premier League, we would've pinned Bentley as a playmaking centre forward. Oisin McConville and John McEntee are no different, deploying him on the 40.
He had a solid game, scoring two points in the first half, one from play and another from the ground. He went onto score a third in the second half.
Informed that David Bentley will start in attack, meaning he'll come up against a hatchet man, like his 14 other team mates. #bellew2bentley

A few hospital hand passes but overall looked sharp. Long range free cleared off the line. #bellew2bentley #GAA

John McEntee and Oisin McConville barking out instructions to him. Must work harder without the ball to break into the team. #bellew2bentley
