With the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup now just one week away, it's time to take a look at what nations come out in top when it comes to kits.

Having ranked all of the kits at the men's edition last winter, we have done the same for the tournament in Australia and New Zealand.

Here's what we came up with.

2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Kit Ranking

32. Zambia

There's not a whole lot to say about this one.

Zambia have had some amazing kits in the past but this isn't one of them.

31. Vietnam

It's just a bit boring for our liking.

30. Philippines

While the previous two entries on this list were a bit plain, this Philippines one has too much going on.

The stripes don't really work.

29. Costa Rica

This looks like a stock kit with a Costa Rica crest stuck onto it.

28. Morocco

Morocco have had some beautiful kits in recent years, although this one falls short of that standard.

27. Switzerland

The stripes across the top part of the jersey are an interesting concept, although it does little in terms of adding to the look of the kit.

Switzerland have had better efforts.

26. England

It's difficult to do too much with the England kit. In saying that, this isn't one of their better ones.

25. Panama

The only Reebok kit at this year's tournament, this one also has a bit of stock feeling to it.

24. Norway

This one could have done with a bit more colour to go along with the red in order to make it stand out.

23. South Africa

South Africa are another nation that can be hit and miss with their kits.

Unfortunately, this effort probably falls into the latter category.

22. USA

This USA jersey looks like somebody stood too close to a painter while wearing a white t-shirt.

It's not great.

21. Colombia

This Colombia kit could have done with a couple of added features.

As it stands, it isn't good enough to crack the top 20 in these rankings.

20. Netherlands

This is a disappointing effort from the Netherlands, who have produced some of the most iconic international kits of all-time in the past.

19. China

The standard is starting to improve now.

This is a decent attempt from China.

18. Australia

One of the host nations, Australia have had better kits in the past.

17. Brazil

Recommended

This is a fairly disappointing kit by Brazilian standards, just about failing to crack the top half of the rankings.

16. Nigeria

This is not as eye-catching as Nigeria's recent kits, although it is still a good effort.

15. Haiti

Making their debut at the tournament, Haiti have marked the occasion with quite a nice kit.

14. South Korea

South Korea often feature near the top of rankings such as this one, although they will have to be content with a mid-table finish on this occasion.

The kit is fine, but it could have done with a bit more creativity.

13. Denmark

This is an interesting kit from Denmark, who always produce unique jerseys.

12. Portugal

Portugal rarely stray from their trusted format for a kit, with this being no exception.

It's not enough to crack the top ten this time.

11. Argentina

Argentina will be hoping that this kit continues to bring them good luck, with the men's team having won the World Cup in it last year.

10. France

This is a bit different to what we're used to seeing from the French, with this shade of blue quite a bit lighter to their usual home kits.

It works well.

9. Ireland

Ireland's kit on their tournament debut is enough to make it to the top ten.

The pinstripes on this kit is what really adds to it in terms of style.

8. New Zealand

The other host nation at this tournament, New Zealand's home kit is an absolute beauty.

7. Italy

Italy's partnership with Adidas is still in its early stages, although this kit is a promising sign of what could be to come.

6. Japan

Japan always produce when it comes to their kits at major tournaments, with this being no exception.

It is unfortunate not to crack the top five.

5. Sweden

We're getting into the big hitters now.

Sweden have had some questionable kits in recent times, but this is a cracker.

4. Spain

This is without doubt one of Spain's best jerseys over the last couple of decades, leaning into a 90s feel with the collar and central crest.

3. Canada

Stunning.

Canada have had some very middling kits in recent years, but this one is fantastic.

2. Germany

An absolute beauty from Germany.

This was very close to claiming the top spot.

1. Jamaica

It had to be.

Jamaica's partnership with Adidas is already looking incredibly promising, with this being the first kit produced by the German manufacturer. They will do well to top in the year's to come.

In our books, it's clearly the best home kit on show at this summer's World Cup.
