Well, after a month of incredible footballing action, the 2018 World Cup is finally at an end. In France, we have the champions many would have suspected. All the same, it has been a tournament scarcely been bereft of surprises. Perhaps it will help, or deepen your sadness further, but, here is each World Cup montage to be found.
First up is the always impressive effort from RTÉ.
France are World Cup champions and we look back on what was a great tournament. Thanks for being there with us. #worldcup #rtesoccer pic.twitter.com/IjNf1e3bGO

The BBC took something of a more artsy approach to the whole thing. Incorporating ballet in to the general mix of things (football, working man's ballet, etc), there is a little less to love about this one.
Sticking to the more standard approach, ITV, with their clever punditry selection, have arguably had their best tournament to date. Not overly experimental here, a solid way to see off a wonderful tournament all the same.
beIN SPORTS took the unusual step of skipping the World Cup montage for the tournament just passed; preempting instead the one to come.
No great surprise there really.
