On this day in 1994, Robbie Fowler elevated himself to legendary status at Anfield.The Reds striker took four minutes and 33 seconds to complete a hat-trick against Arsenal. It remains the fastest hat-trick in the history of the Premier League.
The fresh-faced 19-year-old opened his tally with a cool finish from inside the box 26 minutes into the match. Less than three minutes later, he got his second with a fantastic effort that bobbled in off the upright. Then just after the half hour mark, Fowler completed his famous treble with a tap-in to an open goal.
