Every week on Match Of The Day 2 they finish the show with a quick video feature, and this week with Usain Bolt catching the headlines and "saving" the sport of sprinting, they decided to list the fastest players in the league this weekend according to the top speed they managed to clock, and there's two Irish internationals on the list.
We recently asked Aiden McGeady who the fastest player in the Irish squad was, and he thought it was Seamus Coleman, but the Killybegs native didn't hit one of the top speeds in the league this weekend, whereas his teammate James McCarthy did. There was also a place for Robbie Brady, who has been impressing for Norwich so far this season.
Here's the list in full:
Mame Biram Diouf - 35 km/h
Carl Jenkinson - 34.8 km/h
Ikechi Anya - 34.3 km/h
Romelu Lukaku - 34.3 km/h
James McCarthy - 34.2 km/h
Robbie Brady - 34.1 km/h
Luke Shaw - 34.1 km/h
Aleksander Kolarov - 34.1 km/h
Raheem Sterling - 34.1 km/h
Diego Costa - 32.7 km/h
