Last month is was reported that Galway United's Ryan Manning was heading to the Premier League and most likely to QPR, though Spurs were also rumoured to be interested.

The forward's move to QPR is now all but done.

Galway manager Tommy Dunne told GalwayUnitedFC.ie:

Ryan’s move is pending. Negotiations are on-going and we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. There’s one or two clubs involved and it’s likely that Ryan won’t be with us for next season.

According to today's Irish Examiner, Manning and his father have agreed a two and a half year deal with Harry Redkanpp's side and he is expected to put pen to paper this week.

The 18-year-old also told the paper that he hopes to have broken into the first team by the start of next season.
