Alan Browne is a 19-year-old Corkman who has attracted the attention of a fellow Corkman, Mr Roy Keane.
Keane was in attendance yesterday to watch Browne in action for Preston North End against Norwich City in the FA Cup 3rd round, and it seems the midfielder is in high demand.

Roy Keane has just sat down in the directors box here at Deepdale. I presume he's keeping an eye on #pnefc 's young Irishman Alan Browne.

Browne has made over 25 appearances for PNE this season and last week Dan McDonnell, in the Irish Independent, reported that Swansea are very interested but could wait until the summer to make a move. Should a big money materialise then it would be great news for Browne's old club Cork City also:
On the last Retweet, Cork City would be due a sell on % should Alan Browne leave Preston North End. #pnefc #pne

With Eoin Doyle of Chesterfield also linked with a move up the divisions it could be an interesting transfer window from an Irish perspective.
