Last night furnished forth the Cabinteely FC versus Muse friendly that we had apparently been waiting for.
A Cabinteely XI took on a Muse side led by the band's bass player Chris Wolstenholme (not believed to be related to former BBC football commentator Kenneth) in a charity game at Kilbogget Park in Dublin, which was eventually won by Muse on a scoreline of 9-8. Sportsfile were there to capture a few images of Wolstenholme in action:
