Another week, another Roy Keane interview, but this one actually does seem interesting. By interesting we mean he swears, at Man Utd fans. The latest edition of Four Four Two, which is out on Wednesday, features the piece with the Ireland assistant manager in which he addresses the now well worn out row with Sir Alex Ferguson.
We know this because the author of the piece, Sam Pilger, has tweeted teasers which, it must be said, are pretty good teasers. The most interesting of which is this quote which addresses how Keane feels about Man Utd fans who have chosen to remember him more for his row with Alex Ferguson than what he contributed to the club on the pitch.
Keane “If United fans say I had a decent career then brilliant. If they want to say, ‘What’s gone on with Ferguson stuff?’ then fuck them.”

Keane on if he would ever make up with Ferguson over a pint?”: “Well, it would be a cup of tea. If Sir Alex apologises, then yes, I would” — Sam Pilger (@sampilger) December 2, 2014
Keane: “If Ferguson apologises I would be happy to move on…For Ferguson to bad mouth me after I left, I think he does owe me an apology.” — Sam Pilger (@sampilger) December 2, 2014
Were you and Ferguson too alike? Keane: "Yes. It was never going to end as a pal’s act. I was never going to leave with champagne & flowers" — Sam Pilger (@sampilger) December 2, 2014
Keane: “I saw how Bryan Robson and Steve Bruce left the club, both decent United captains, and I didn’t like the way they left.” — Sam Pilger (@sampilger) December 2, 2014
Pilger has also given us a few more nuggets of information, including the fact that his kids tease him about supporting England and most teasingly of all, he's open to joining Twitter.
Roy Keane: “My kids tease me about supporting England, a bit of banter, but they are Ireland all day.” — Sam Pilger (@sampilger) December 2, 2014
Surprisingly Roy Keane didn’t rule out possibly joining Twitter… — Sam Pilger (@sampilger) December 2, 2014
