Spanish newspaper AS reports some interesting comments from Argentine journalist Fabian Godoy.
Godoy says that Lionel Messi is considering a move to Chelsea this summer and that he has spoken to Jose Mourinho about the possible transfer.
The move could be expedited if Barcelona do not win any trophies this season. Barca are currently second in La Liga, two points behind Real Madrid. They are also second their Champions League group, a point behind PSG, who they face in the final game at Camp Nou.
Messi is also said to be unhappy with the club's lack of assistance regarding his recent tax issues with the Spanish government.
The striker is sponsored by Adidas and Godoy says that the brand could play a role in the transfer by partially funding it. One other factor in the transfer could be the relationship between Messi and Cesc Fabragas, the two are said to be close as are their wives.
