A hat-trick is something to be cherished in soccer. It's not something that happens to every player. What's even rarer, is for each of the three goals to come from set pieces. That's right, a set piece hat-trick.

It's exactly what happened last night in Celtic's 6-0 thrashing of Partick Thistle in the Scottish League Cup last night. Swedish striker John Guidetti, on loan from Manchester City scored two free kicks and a penalty to add to Celtic's cushion. All three goals are worth a look in the gif below, with the first free kick truly something to behold.
