A genuinely unbelievable story has emerged from Italy this weekend. A month ago, a 14 year old boy, known only as Michael, jumped into a shallow canal where he was then caught underwater for 42 minutes.

Incredibly, paramedics managed to restart his heart with a defibrillator. He was transferred to hospital, where he has been in a coma for the past four weeks. Given that human beings are not exactly built to be underwater for as long as Michael was, hopes for a full recovery were not high.

However, Michael emerged from his coma this weekend and was able to ask the all important question. Were Juventus still in the Champions League?

We can only imagine the delight when he found out he'd be able to watch Pirlo, Tevez and Pogba take on Barcelona in Berlin this weekend.
