For the day that's in it it's worth pointing out that this probably isn't anything to do with April Fools Day, as images emerged online on March 31st from a very reputable source that suggest Nike are thinking outside the box with the new Man City jersey for the upcoming season.
'Blue Moon' is the song that Manchester City fans sing before matches, during matches, after matches... Pretty much all the time really, and Nike are looking to pay homage to that song by making the focal point of City's new away jersey a great big blue moon.
And the home kit was also leaked, although it's far more normal looking:
The style is similar to the Puma jerseys designed for African teams such as Senegal, Ghana, and the Ivory Coast with a faded image associated with the nation, and it's a trend we'd like to see more of if it's done as well as the suggested City kit above.
