Fantasty football management can be a stressful thing.
There are many decisions to be made week after week such as; 'Who do I captain?', 'Should I play my wildcard?', or even 'Can I save a few million by going with a sub goalkeeper who never plays?', so those of us who fuss over our side every week have a lot on our plates.
When something good happens in fantasy football, you have to cherish it, and we've listed some of the little things that keep us going throughout the year.
When you've got a player playing on Monday Night Football.
It's always nice to know that most managers have had all their players play, but you've got your hopes on that one midfielder left to play. The feeling of watching him score, or score twice like Dimitri Payet last Monday, is euphoric.
When you back a new signing to do well and he lights up the league.
The wonderfully smug feeling of going out on a limb and being rewarded. Can he adapt to the Premier League? You bet your ass he can.
Forgetting to change your captain, and the one you didn't want plays a blinder.
Count your lucky stars.
Risking a player at 75% fitness, and then seeing his name on the team-sheet.
You have to love it when a gamble pays off, especially if you had a Sunderland defender on the bench.
Making a tidy profit on a player and feeling like Jordan Belfort.
Playing the market like a pro, just a shame it isn't real money.
Checking Livescore when you can't watch the match, and seeing the name you wanted to see.
The tension as you wait for the app to load, and then BAM! Gomis has bagged two! Best bus journey ever.
When your arch rival has an absolute shocker.
The competitiveness of fantasy football at its most pure.
Having your captain score in both games on a double gameweek.
I backed you, Skipper, and you've well and truly delivered. That's why you're my captain.
When your sub scores big points and a starting player gets dropped by his manager.
If he didn't play so badly last week those bench points would have been wasted, but the manager has made the call and dropped him for you. When the stars align like this, you have to feel it's going to be a good week.
When you give a friend good advice.
And then it's up to you how regularly you wish to remind him that you are the fantasy football oracle. Typically it is at every opportunity.
Using your FIFA/Football Manager knowledge to your advantage.
Anyone who signed Anthony Martial in FIFA 14 career mode should have had him in their team last week, the chap grew to an 87 overall for me!
When you captain a defender and he keeps a clean sheet.
The strikers just aren't getting the job done, but it's still a big risk. You NEED that clear sheet, but when it happens...
