The Liverpool All-Stars Charity Match will take place at Anfield on March 29th, and there are a lot of big names taking part. Both current and former Liverpool players will be joined by a selection of stars who never wore the liverbird on their chest for the match that will take place during an international break.

Some of the names involved include Pepe Reina, Xabi Alonso, Luis Suarez, John Terry, Didier Drogba, Fernando Torres, Luis Garcia, and, of course, Ryan Babel.

This week Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher met up to pick their squads without current Liverpool players who may still be called up to international duty, and they had a great laugh while doing it. Carragher was particularly enjoying having a cheeky pop at the likes of Brad Jones, John Arne Riise, and the midfield trio of Xabi Alonso, Gerrard, and Kevin Nolan due to their lack of mobility.

Craig Bellamy up against Riise will certainly be interesting.

As charity matches go, it looks set to be a cracker. You can get more information on the Liverpool All-Stars match from Liverpool's official site.
