Despite the likes of Instagram trying to implement 'story' features to try and convince people to use their app instead of Snapchat, the app remains one of the most popular social media tools in 2017.
We've done lists before on the athletes that have Snapchat accounts, but it was time for an update and a list that only includes regular snappers in the year 2017.
We've had a look around and followed some of the top footballers in the world, and here is a short list to get you started.
Footballers on Snapchat:
Jesse Lingard (Manchester United & England) - iamjesselingard
Mostly taking the piss out of Marcus Rashford and just having a laugh with filters in general. He's a daily snapper and is good for a story on match days.
Neymar (Barcelona & Brazil) - Neymarjr
Of of the biggest names in football right now, his personal snapchat offers a look around his luxurious home and many snaps from his bed.
Roberto Firmino (Liverpool & Brazil) - rfirmino1
A prolific snapper who loves filters and blaring Brazilian music for all to hear. A lot of shopping too.
David Alaba (Bayern Munich & Austria) - da_twentyseven
Alaba is good fun and enjoys getting his Bayern teammates in on the act.
Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur & England)- delealli36
Ripping the piss out of Eric Dier and heavy emoji usage, Alli isn't the most prolific but good value when he does upload a pic.
Adrien Rabiot (PSG & France) - adrienrabiot_25
You'll get to see a lot of Paris, which is a plus, otherwise just a young footballer enjoying life.
Adebayo Akinfenwa (Wycombe Wanderers) - Mrbeastmodeon
A must add. Simple as that. Akinfenwa is great entertainment be it watching football or completely bossing the gym.
Filipe Luis (Atletico Madrid & Brazil) - flilpelk
A good laugh and a bit of a nerd, Luis loves his Dragonball Z and getting his teammates in on his snaps.
Sergi Roberto (Barcelona & Spain) - sergiroberto
The man who scored the goal that secured the outrageous comeback against PSG, expect lots of Barca snaps.
Mario Goetze (Borussia Dortmund & Germany) - m-goetze19
Goetze has suffered a very unfortunate illness that will keep him off the pitch for a while, but you can expect him to still snap regularly.
