One of the major issues when a new club is founded is finding the fan base, and getting them behind the team from day one.
Newly formed MLS side New York City FC, where David Villa (and soon Frank Lampard) plays his football, have drawn in decent crowds since the start of the MLS season, but this effort to inform their new fans of the lyrics of the fans' chants is being absolutely panned on twitter. And rightfully so, as it's bloody awful.
These song sheets are given out at New York City FC matches, making them pretty much the worst club in the world pic.twitter.com/uh7HiV7XT8

Highlights include:
N... Y... C... ***Clap***
Everywhere we go,
Everywhere we go,
We're the New York City boys, making all the noise,
Everywhere we go.
And most brilliantly:
I, wanna Diskerud all night,
And party every day!
Shocking. This type of carry on will send the reputation of US "soccer" back a few decades. Well, not really but it's still utterly terrible.
Not a good look NYCFC, not a good look.
