The 2025 Ladbrokes UK Open is starting this weekend with many of darts' heavy hitters looking like they could come away with the title. With a different winner every year since 2017, it is one of the hardest competitions to call, but Ladbrokes ambassador, Russ Bray has a major tip on who he thinks will pull away with a victory.

Firstly, here are the odds.

There are many worthy names in the list, and some whose odds are expected to change before the competition starts. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes noted that Luke Humphries form will be a factor.

It's not often you'll find Luke Humphries priced as big as 11/2 to win a tournament, and his Exeter success on Thursday night means we're expecting his odds to shorten even further by the time he throws his first dart this weekend.

2025 Ladbrokes UK Open Winner

Luke Littler - 10/3
Luke Humphries - 11/2
Michael van Gerwen - 10/1
Gerwyn Price - 11/1
Gary Anderson - 20/1
Stephen Bunting - 20/1
Wessel Nijman - 20/1
Chris Dobey - 25/1
Gian van Veen - 25/1
Jonny Clayton - 25/1
Rob Cross - 25/1
Ryan Searle - 25/1
Callan Rydz - 33/1
Josh Rock - 33/1
Nathan Aspinall - 33/1
Damon Heta - 40/1
Danny Noppert - 40/1
Ross Smith - 40/1

Russ Bray's Big Tip

Slightly going against the grain, Bray selected his champion for the tournament, and it is not one of the top names that immediately comes to mind right now.

The Ladbrokes UK Open always throws up some outside names, because of the nature of the format, but personally, on current form, I think Gerwyn Price is the one to beat this weekend.

He's just getting better and better this year. He seems a lot more relaxed and confident in himself, he turned both Lukes over the other week in the Premier League; he's the one in form at the moment.

While Gerwyn Price was his number one pick, Bray could not ignore the former world champion either.

If not Gezzy, then Luke Humphries - I'm a massive fan of Humphries - he's a world champion, he's world number one... you just can't throw him out of the mix.

There's no shortage of possible champions once again, and whatever happens, it will definitely be another thrilling tournament.
