Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has quite the reputation for some eclectic and bizarre antics when he appears in public, and this was in show in spades at Friday's action in the World Darts Championship.
The Alexandra Palace in North London was host to an evening of top class darts action on Friday, and Capaldi was in the crowd for it.
Upon arrival, Capaldi was given the opportunity to try out his very own "walk-on" - and intercepted Irish singer Niall Horan for a kiss on his way to the stage. He then proceeded to try his hand at throwing some darts, before throwing his jumper into the crowd.
It was an energetic entrance from Capaldi, and he said in an interview with Sky Sports that he had simply been swept up in the energy at the "Ally Pally".
WDC: Lewis Capaldi steals show at Ally Pally
Nobody could have been expecting Lewis Capaldi's first move upon arrival at the World Darts Championship. Trialling out an iconic "walk-on", Capaldi spotted Irishman Niall Horan right up against the barrier.
He rushed over to the Mullingar native and planted a kiss on Horan. When he rushed on, ex-One Direction man Horan could be seen in fits of laughter, before the cameras once again picked him up applauding Capaldi's attempts at hitting the dart board.

Capaldi was evidently caught up in the frenzied atmosphere, and eventually stripped his jumper off and flung it into the crowd.
Given temperatures are rarely above 4 degrees in London currently, we'd imagine it was a chilly commute home for Capaldi.
After the real darting action got underway, Lewis Capaldi spoke to Sky Sports about his grand entrance.

Capaldi appeared to acknowledge his drunkenness, before making a hilarious remark that his grand entrance was the most fun he had had in 2022 "with his trousers on":
I'm stinkin' me hole - but I don't imagine I'm the only person here.
I'm blending in quite well. It's great fun - lots of camaraderie, lots of smiles, lots of high-fives. It's electric in here.
[The walk-on] was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. If I can be quite honest with you, without being crass, it's the most fun I've had this year with my trousers on.
I got caught up in the moment, and I had to disrobe and throw it into the crowd. I was just feeding off the energy. It was exceptional, a beautiful thing.
Capaldi said that he was backing his fellow Scotsman Alan Soutar - fortunately for both, Soutar has progressed through the first round, and will face Northern Irishman Daryl Gurney in the second round.
We certainly weren't anticipating seeing Lewis Capaldi and Niall Horan's bromance to kick off at the darts, but it did lead to some hilarious scenes at the Ally Pally on Friday night.
