Gerwyn Price gave a shout-out to the 3Arena crowd after defeating Nathan Aspinall 6-3 to win the Premier League Darts event in Dublin.
The Welshman overcame Luke Littler 6-4 in his quarter final before taking Luke Humphries in the semi-final.
Meanwhile, Aspinall overcame Rob Cross and Michael van Gerwen to reach the decider but couldn't keep pace with Price who scored highly and was prolific on the doubles in the decider.
The win moves the world number nine up to second in the Premier League table after three events on this year's card.
The former World champ said the 'crowd partly got him through' his last four clash with world number one Luke Humphries, which he won 6-3.
A pantomime villain at times throughout his career, Price wore green and received a warm reception from the crowd.
He gave them a big thumbs up after taking out 116 in the sixth leg of his clash with Humphries and praised them afterwards.

"Great night for me. I'm not sure what it is but Luke Littler seems to bring the best out of me. And gives me a gee-up and gets me going," Price said.
"Obviously the world number one next, I think the crowd partly got me through that game, which was nice.
"Started slow in the final, missed a couple of double but found my feet and put Nathan to bed.
"I'm glad I got to the final, and I'm sure Nathan is as well. Two people who were probably rooted out of the Premier League but we probably proved people wrong," he continued.
🗣️ "This year I'm taking my chances, I'm playing really well and the results are coming."

"It was a great help for me today but we're playing in England for ten weeks out of the next thirteen. So I'm sure I'll be up against it but I'm ready for it."
