Oprah Winfrey appeared on the CBS 'This Morning' show today to talk about her interview with Lance Armstrong which was recorded on Monday. The interview will be broadcast over two nights as Winfrey said they did not with to leave half of it on the cutting room floor.

She described Armstrong as forthcoming and that although not all questions were answered, the most important questions that people were waiting to hear were answered.
When ask if Armstrong was contrite during the interview, she said that she would prefer that people make up their own minds.
The interview will be available to watch live on Oprah.com at 2am Irish time on January 18th with the second half being broadcast at the same time the following night.
