It is hard not to laugh when you see this, but spare a thought for the cyclist involved, it does look painful.
Number one rule when taking to the road, whether it be by car, truck or bicycle, always keep your eye on the road. Yoann Offredo was taking part in the Paris-Roubaix, and unlike the other hundred or so cyclists in front of him, he failed to see the road sign in the middle of the road. After having a look behind him for a couple of seconds, he crashed into a road sign and was sent flying through the air. Offredo was ok afterwards but I’m not sure he will find it as amusing as the rest of us.
