Cecilie Utrupp Ludwig (FDJ Suez Futuroscope) was victorious in today's Stage 3 of the inaugural Tour de France Femmes.
Following the race, Ludwig cried and laughed her way through an emotional interview, while also throwing in some non-PG language as well.
She described Stage 2 of the Tour de France Femmes, as a 'fucking shit day', after the race lost the co-leader and her own teammate, Marta Cavalli, when the Italian was forced to withdraw due to injuries suffered in a horror crash.
Ludwig also praised her team for bouncing back so quickly after what would have been an emotional and stressful day yesterday.
You'll struggle to find a better interview than this 🔻

I'm sorry. It feels like such a good comeback after, I have to say, it was a fucking shit day yesterday. Losing Marta and crashing and have to come back. And I just loved how the team kept the fighting spirit. We knew that today was a supeer good day and if I had the legs then I could try and go for the win. And to actually do it and to be a Tour de France stage winner, and in this jersey. O my God, it just doesn't get better.
I didn't come into the last corner in the best position but I just kept fighting. And what a victory man and this is for the team, this is for my team, they did such a good job yesterday and they kept believing in me, so yeh I love you guys. What a year for Denmark.

Tour de France leader, Marianne Vos (Team Jumbo Visma), came second in today's stage, while Ludwig is tenth overall.
Unlike the recent men's edition, the Tour de France Femmes is less than half the size in length and has only eight stages overall.
However, this is due to the lack of resources available to some of the teams, and there will also be no rest days.
